Our wheelchair access area has space for 4 wheelchairs and 4 attendants.
Centennial Theatre reserves 8 House Seats per performance.
Front of House:
A 4 hour Front of House staff call is included for all performances. The Lobby includes a licenced concession area, operated exclusively by Theatre staff.
The Lobby can accommodate ten (10) five foot tables. Lobby sales for programs, cds, memorabilia, etc. can be arranged through the Front of House Supervisor and is subject to a 10% lobby sales commission.
Box Office will be supplied for a 2 hour call before your performance to faclitate ticket sales and will call.
Advance ticket sale service is available through Centennial Theatre Box Office located at the Theatre and online. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. Tickets for all events will be supplied by the Theatre. The renter will not print tickets or arrange for the supply of tickets from outside sources. Ticket printing and/or commission cost is added to the price of your rental.
Catering is permitted in the lobby subject to obtaining a Health Permit from Vancouver Coastal Health.
Ample parking is free in the adjacent theatre lot.
Wheelchair accessible to the House, Stage, Dressing Rooms and Washrooms.
The Theatre is equipped with a Sennheiser infra-red hearing system available through the concession.
Centennial Theatre Centre is located in North Vancouver, one block south of Highway 1 (Upper Levels Hwy) at the N.E. corner of Lonsdale Avenue and 23rd Street, 23 blocks north of the Lonsdale Quay.
Enter from 23rd Street, on east side of the Theatre.

Access from Stage Door, below stage. Two (2) Chorus Dressing Rooms, each with mirrors, make-up lights, washrooms and shower facilities.
A separate “lockable” Costume Storage Room equipped with eight castored or rolling costume racks could be available.
Two (2) 2-person Star Dressing Rooms adjacent to washrooms. No facilities.
30 ft. by 36 ft. sprung hardwood. 12 ft. height. One mirrored wall on the west wall. The Rehearsal Studio is a flexible space that can accommodate 85 people (theatre style) or 95 people standing and is available for rental for special events and receptions, dance classes, etc.
A hardwood maple floor, sprung on rubber cushions. No screws, nails, or other fasteners may be used without written permission from Theatre Technical Personnel.

When covered, forms Apron. Extends stage floor area, from House Curtain. The cover consists of sixteen plywood sections, weight each, approx. 75 lbs. The orchestra pit can accommodate, depending on equipment requirements, approximately 25 musicians. Free space approximately 290 sq. ft. (26.94 sq. M.).
NOTE: The orchestra pit cover will be in place upon arrival. The Licensee will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel to remove and replace the cover.

The House Curtain is a red colour, manual traveler. A complete set of black drapes and a cyclorama is hung in position. See RIGGING section for details.

HELIUM FILLED BALLOONS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON STAGE OR IN THE AUDITORIUM.
FOOD, DRINKS AND GUM ARE NOT PERMITTED ON STAGE.
ONE THEATRE TECHNICAL STAFF PERSON WILL BE PRESENT FOR ALL SCHEDULED HOURS OF THEATRE USAGE. The licensee will provide a STAGE MANAGER, STAGE CREW, AND ALL APPROPRIATE PERSONNEL to operate any equipment necessary for the production other than the equipment operated by the theatre technical staff.
