Seating Capacity: 705
This total includes 697 fixed seats and our wheelchair access area which has space for 4 wheelchairs and 4 attendants. Centennial Theatre reserves 8 House Seats per performance. 

Front of House:
A 4 hour Front of House staffing is included for all confirmed bookings. The Lobby includes a concession area, operated exclusively by Theatre staff.

The Lobby can accommodate ten (10) five foot tables. Lobby sales for programs, cds, memorabilia, etc. can be arranged through the Front of House Supervisor and are subject to a 10% lobby sales commission.

Box Office:
Box Office will be supplied for a 2 hour call before your performance to faclitate ticket selling and the pick up of tickets.

Tickets:
Advance ticket sale service in available through Centennial Theatre Box Office located at the Theatre.  Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
Tickets for all events will be supplied by the Theatre. The renter will not print tickets or arrange for the supply of tickets from other sources. Ticket printing and/or commission cost is added to the price of your rental.

Catering:
Special catering services are available and can be provided by prior arrangement. The Centennial Theatre Centre reserves all rights to catering.

Parking:
Ample parking is free in the adjacent theatre lot.

Wheelchair Accessibility:
Wheelchair accessible to the House, Stage, Dressing Rooms and Washrooms.
The Theatre is equipped with a Sennheiser infra-red hearing system available through the concession.

Centennial Theatre Centre is located in North Vancouver, one block south of Highway 1 (Upper Levels Hwy) at the N.E. corner of Lonsdale Avenue and 23rd Street, 23 blocks north of the Lonsdale Quay.

Loading Dock:
Enter from 23rd Street, on east side of the Theatre.

Dock height: 3 ft. 3 in. (.99M)
Dock width: 14 ft. 9 in. (4.49M)
The loading dock is at STAGE LEVEL.

CAUTION NOTE FOR SEMI-TRAILERS:
Please observe height restrictions on the overpass just east of the ramp down to the Loading Dock. Overpass height is 3.9M.

Loading Door:
Height: 12 ft. (3.65M)
Width: 9 ft. 7 in. (2.9M)

Stage Door:
Located in same area.

Dressing Rooms:
Access from Stage Door, below stage. Two (2) Chorus Dressing Rooms, each with mirrors, make-up lights, washrooms and shower facilities.

A separate “lockable” Costume Storage Room equipped with eight castored or rolling costume racks could be available.

Two (2) 2-person Star Dressing Rooms adjacent to washrooms. No facilities.

Rehearsal Studio:
30 ft. by 36 ft. sprung hardwood. 12 ft. height. One mirrored wall on the west wall. The Rehearsal Studio is a flexible space that can accommodate 85 people (theatre style) or 100 people standing and is available for rental for special events and receptions, dance classes, etc.

Stage

A hardwood maple floor, sprung on rubber cushions. No screws, nails, or other fasteners may be used without written permission from Theatre Technical Personnel.

Height: 16 ft. (4.7 M.) Width: 36 ft. (10.97 M.)
Drapes “in”, approx. 36 ft.

Floor Space:
House Curtain to Cyc: 31 ft. (9.44 M.)
Wings: Extend 42 ft. (12.8 M.) each side.
Height Limits: 16 ft. 10 in. per side.

Orchestra Pit:
When covered, forms Apron. Extends stage floor area, from House Curtain. The cover consists of sixteen plywood sections, weight each, approx. 75 lbs. The orchestra pit can accommodate, depending on equipment requirements, approximately 25 musicians. Free space approximately 290 sq. ft. (26.94 sq. M.).

NOTE: The orchestra pit cover will be in place upon arrival. The Licensee will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel to remove and replace the cover.

Stage Accessories:
The following items are stored in the wings:

* 1 conductor's podium
* 78 music stands
* 100 orchestra chairs
* 4 (only) 4 ft x 8 ft. risers, 12 in. high.
* 1 drum riser on wheels - 6 in. by 8 in. by 6 in. high

Stage Draperies:
The House Curtain is a blue colour, manual traveler. A complete set of black drapes and a cyclorama is hung in position. See RIGGING section for details.

Piano:
YAMAHA C-3 6 ft. Baby Grand.

PLEASE NOTE:
ONE THEATRE TECHNICAL STAFF PERSON WILL BE PRESENT FOR ALL SCHEDULED HOURS OF THEATRE USAGE. The licensee will provide a STAGE MANAGER, STAGE CREW, AND ALL APPROPRIATE PERSONNEL to operate any equipment necessary for the production other than the equipment operated by the theatre technical staff.
